Federal Mobile Computing Summit

The Federal Mobile Computing Summit: Transformation to a Mobile-First Environment will be held on February 17-18, 2015 at the Grand Hyatt in Washington, D.C. (Free Government & Academic Registration)

The symposium will feature mobile subject matter experts from the Federal government and academia on panels with topics such as State of Federal Mobility in 2015; Field Work in a Mobile-First Environment; Mobile Identity Management; Mobile Security Integration Challenges and Solutions; and the Future of APIs & Internet of Things. The MITRE-ATARC Mobile Collaboration Symposium will discuss and white-board mobile “challenge areas” focusing on topics as Identity and Access Management; Bring Your Own Device; Commercial Solutions for Classified Use; Sharing Information Across Organizational Boundaries.

Also included in the event is the Mobile Technology Showcase, which features the latest in cutting-edge technology from leading mobile innovators and allows government participants to conduct market research. (List of mobile technology innovators)

The host organization for the Federal Cloud Computing Summit is the Advanced Technology Academic Research Center (ATARC). ATARC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides a collaborative forum for government, academia and industry to resolve emerging technology challenges. ATARC also introduces innovative technology from academic research labs to the Federal government and private industry.
