Introduction to the Capital Programming Guide

This event qualifies for 1 CLPs

This webinar is designed to provide the participant with a one-hour review of the newest version (v3.0) of the Capital Programming Guide (CPG).

The Capital Programming Guide is a supplement to the OMB Circular A-11,  Preparation, Submission and Execution of the Budget. The most recent version of this guide included updates from July 2014. The 104-page Guide is distilled down into key Phases, knowledge and talking points to help orient or refresh project managers, program managers, governance professionals, enterprise architects and capital planning professionals with the most recent version of this important OMB budget and planning guidance.

The overview will cover the purpose, definition of a Capital Asset, the three core phases: Planning & Budgeting, Acquisition, and Management-In-Use. The review will cover Capital Asset Management Infrastructure and the roles of Review Committees and Project Teams.

Upon registration, an email confirmation sending you the webinar link and access code will be automatically sent to you by Constant Contact, to the email you use to register. Constant Contact will also send you an email prior to the webinar with a BOX.COM username and password so that you may download a PDF copy of the slides.
