THE CYBERSECURITY AGENDA DESPITE CONGRESSIONAL INACTION
While prospects for congressional enactment of cybersecurity legislation in the near term continue to dim, several executive branch departments and independent agencies have embarked on activities that could profoundly affect company obligations in the cyber sphere. Where in the government are these activities taking place and who is leading the charge? What regulatory exposure are companies facing in the coming months?
Join Bloomberg Government for a complimentary webinar on Wednesday, September 24 at 2:00 PM EDT where our industry and congressional experts will analyze how cybersecurity regulatory agenda continues to advance despite congressional inaction.
Topics Will Include:
- An update on actions and proposals by federal agencies and departments on cybersecurity policies and compliance
- A review of deadlines for companies and interested parties to comment on each department’s cybersecurity efforts
- A discussion of private sector initiatives that are underway to develop more comprehensive cyber policies, and their potential impact on the regulatory process
- An outlook for future congressional action on cybersecurity
