Special Operations Summit
Special Operations Summit 2014: Supporting a Stronger, Smarter, Changing Global SOF Community
SOF will play a crucial and expanding role in developing the capabilities of our international partners to thwart the spread of global terrorism and prevent hostilities from turning into major regional conflicts. With fewer conventional troops available and with help farther away commandos will need more effective intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and communications systems.
This year’s Special Operations Summit is designed to provide a holistic overview of SOCOM advancements given the recent changes in Command and upcoming elections. By providing insights from the various Special Operations Commands, attendees will be able to gain insights into the future roadmap of growing the global SOF network. SORDAC presentations will provide the outline of support of the various theatre initiatives, supported by theatre command panels. The goal is to provide those most involved in developing the SOF community with the information they need to help support the SOF mission.
Join more than 250 fellow Special Operations professionals from over 80 different organizations to discuss and identify opportunities to strengthen local, regional, and global trust through interagency and partner cooperation
