The Federal Cloud Computing Summit: Embracing Today’s Cloud Opportunities will be held on July 8-9, 2014 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, D.C.

Panel topics will include:

• Cloud Broker
• Cloud Acquisition and Policy
• Cloud Migration
• Cloud Security and FedRAMP
• Cloud Applications in Government and Academia

The Summit will also feature the popular and highly-interactive MITRE Cloud Collaboration Symposium, where subject-matter experts from government and industry will collaborate in a small-group setting on “challenge areas” in cloud and virtualization. The four challenge areas: Cloud Computing in Austere Environments; Cloud Computing for the Mobile or Remote Worker; Security as a Service; and Impact of Clouds in the Enterprise.

The host organization for the Federal Cloud Computing Summit is the Advanced Mobility Academic Research Center (AMARC). The AMARC mission is to optimize the delivery of government services through the utilization of mobile communications technology, expand academic research capabilities within government organizations, and promote STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) training at academic institutions.
