CrisisCampDC and Random Hacks of Kindness Hackathon

CrisisCampDC will be Saturday only and will be co-located with the Random Hacks of Kindness Hackathon.

CrisisCampDC, A barcamp on the use of technology to help people and communities in times and places of crisis. 

Overview: Saturday will be a traditional barcamp information exchange similar to last year. If you are a programmer and wish to code you can join the Random Hacks of Kindness code-a-thon happening just down the hall.

At CrisisCampDC we will create a board of sessions such as CrisisCamp Haiti after action, Oil Spill and Open Data and the development of a local DC chapter of CrisisCommons. In addition, we will take some time to explore development of the agenda for the First International CrisisCongress hosted by CrisisCommons, World Bank and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.
