The December 5^th ChallengeHER—WOSB Opportunity Forum with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security event will provide attendees with an overview of the WOSB program and the opportunity to hear directly from the DHS about their small business contracting opportunities. In addition to hearing from the DHS, the half day event will feature:

• Everything small business owners need to know about the WOSB program and how to leverage a WOSB certification to go after contracts;
• Tips to make a Capability Statement stand apart from the competition;
• Success stories, challenges and advice for future growth from successful women small business contractors;
• Opportunities to network with other WOSB and Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) firms.

The event is presented by American Express OPEN, the small business division of the financial services company, the Small Business Administration (SBA), Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS)
