Department of Veterans Affairs T4 Program for IT Professional Services May Top $3B

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology (T4) Program will consist of a multiple award contract vehicle to provide a comprehensive, world-wide, solution to support both VA and non-VA customers.

While a ceiling value has not yet been established, the contract is similar to, but not a direct follow-on to Global Information Technology Support Services GITSS, which was approximately $3 billion.

The T4 Program, will be procured out of the VA’s Technology Acquisition Center (TAC). This new office, established in Q1 2009, is dedicated to providing acquisition and program management expertise and support for life cycle management of enterprise-wide solutions in IT for the VA’s Office of Information and Technology (OIT). T4 offers an opportunity for multiple prime and subcontractors to provide a broad range of services and products including:

Program management, strategy, and planning
Systems/software engineering
Enterprise networks
Cybersecurity
Operations and maintenance
Information technology facilities
